Sara Teal is a holistic practitioner specialising in yoga therapy, sound healing, meditation, breathwork, and Reiki. A yoga teacher since 2018 and a sound therapist since 2019, Sara has guided countless individuals toward greater well-being with her integrative approach.
Her practice has been profoundly shaped by four years of hands-on experience at an alcohol and drug residential recovery center. This transformative work deepened Sara’s understanding of how yoga can support physical, mental, and emotional recovery, allowing her to develop a trauma-informed approach tailored to individual needs.
Sara’s yoga classes blend movement, breath, and mindfulness, offering a balanced practice suitable for all levels. Through guided breathwork sessions, she helps individuals harness the power of their breath for deep healing and self-discovery. Sara has completed four years of practical, on-the-job training in yoga therapy, with a focus on addiction recovery. During this time, she's provided tailored yoga therapy sessions to support clients in recovery, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through her work, she enhanced her skills in client assessment, session customisation, and trauma-sensitive approaches. During this time, Sara has gained hands-on experience working with a diverse range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, PTSD, CPTSD, and physical rehabilitation needs.
