Reiki & Sekhem Energy Healing
Reiki is a sacred, subtle energy that flows where it’s needed most — often beneath words, beyond thought. It supports your natural healing capacity, helping to balance the nervous system, clear stagnant energy, and gently reconnect you with the deeper intelligence of your body and spirit.
This isn’t a treatment to fix you — it’s an invitation to return to yourself.

'I wasn’t sure what to expect from my first Reiki session with Sara, but it was truly a beautiful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease. The environment was calm, peaceful, and inviting. During the session, I felt a deep sense of relaxation wash over me—like my stress and worries were melting away. There were moments where I felt warmth and gentle energy flowing through body. After the session, I felt lighter, more centred, and surprisingly emotional in a really good way. It was as if something had shifted within me. I slept better that night and felt more balanced in the days that followed. This session helped me reconnect with myself and reminded me to slow down and breathe. I’m so grateful to Sara for this healing experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking calm, clarity, or emotional release.'

I am qualified as a Reiki Master, and have also recently been attuned to the Egyptian Reiki lineage known as Sekhem — a radiant, solar current said to originate from the ancient temples of Egypt. In Reiki, “Master” does not mean the end of learning but the beginning of deeper responsibility. A Reiki Master is attuned to the full current of Reiki, embodying its principles in daily life and serving as a channel for healing, wisdom, and initiation. The Sekhem lineage expands this current into a higher octave — a golden light that flows through the heart and crown, awakening remembrance, purification, and deep energetic coherence.

During each session, these two lineages work together — the traditional Reiki providing grounding, nourishment, and balance; the Egyptian Sekhem offering illumination, transformation, and connection to ancient feminine wisdom streams associated with Isis, Hathor, and Sekhmet.

How to Prepare
Come as you are, but try to avoid caffeine or alcohol beforehand if possible — especially if you’re sensitive, as these can cloud the subtle messages your body may share.
Wear soft, comfortable clothing. You’ll remain fully clothed and can lie down or sit, depending on what feels best.
If possible, allow some space afterwards to rest, journal, walk in nature, or simply be.

During & After Your Session
You may feel warmth, tingling, pulsing, or waves of energy moving through you. Emotions may arise. You may drop into deep stillness, or see colours and symbols behind closed eyes — or simply feel peaceful and held. Every experience is valid, and none is better than another.

Afterwards, some people feel deeply relaxed or clear-headed; others feel sleepy, emotional, or quietly transformed. Reiki and Sekhem continue to work for several days — clearing, aligning, and integrating. Drink plenty of water, trust your process, and notice what arises: insights, dreams, shifts, or subtle nudges.
I’ll be working both intuitively and energetically, tuning in to what your system is ready to release, receive, or remember.
The energy knows what to do.
Post session
Reiki works best when you're not rushing to the next thing.
If possible, take some quiet time — even just 10 minutes — to breathe, nap, or simply do nothing.
(I’ll send further details after your session, but here’s a little heads-up…)
Aftercare Suggestions
These practices help ground, integrate, and nourish your energy:
After Reiki, your energy field may feel more open. Grounding helps you return fully to your body and the Earth.
Try:
-
Eating grounding foods like warm meals, grains, or root vegetables
-
Walking barefoot or resting your spine on the earth
-
Breathing deeply into your belly
-
Wrapping yourself in a blanket, holding a stone, or lighting a candle
A warm cup of herbal tea after your session is a beautiful way to anchor the energy. Eat something gently nourishing — even a small, wholesome snack — to help your body settle and feel safe.

Think: slow, sacred, sensory.
