Sound Therapist Social

Saturday 10 October | 2.30–5pm
Sheffield Yoga Centre
Free – booking essential

A relaxed afternoon of connection, conversation and shared sound for sound therapists, practitioners currently in training, and anyone seriously considering undertaking professional sound therapy training.

Working with sound can sometimes be a surprisingly solitary path. This gathering is an opportunity to meet other people in the field, exchange experiences, make connections and begin building a supportive local sound therapy community.

During the afternoon, we’ll share a drum circle, spend time connecting in smaller groups, and open up conversations around practice, instruments, venues, collaboration, confidence and developing sustainable sound-based work.

There will also be a small instrument marketplace, where you’re welcome to bring sound therapy instruments that you would like to sell. This might include singing bowls, drums, percussion, chimes, mallets or other sound-making treasures. Please label anything you bring with your name, the price and any useful information about the instrument.

Our gathering takes place on 10/10, a portal associated with completion, alignment and stepping into a new cycle. The New Moon arrives at 4.50pm, just before our afternoon ends, so we’ll use this moment to come together, work with sound and set intentions for the next stage of our individual and collective journeys.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and hear more about my 2027 Sound Therapy Facilitator Diploma. For those already practising, I’d love to hear which areas you would like to explore more deeply, as I’m also developing a programme of future CPD workshops.

Please bring a drum or small instrument for our shared circle if you have one, although there will be instruments available to borrow. You’re also welcome to bring business cards, leaflets or information about your own offerings to share.

This gathering is completely free, but places are limited and must be booked in advance. Book in here.
