After Reiki, your energy field may feel more open. Grounding helps you return fully to your body and the Earth.
Try:

Eating grounding foods like warm meals, grains, or root vegetables

Walking barefoot or resting your spine on the earth

Breathing deeply into your belly

Wrapping yourself in a blanket, holding a stone, or lighting a candle
A warm cup of herbal tea after your session is a beautiful way to anchor the energy. Eat something gently nourishing — even a small, wholesome snack — to help your body settle and feel safe.

After your Reiki session, the energy doesn’t simply stop — it unfolds. Like ripples on water, what was stirred begins to move through your body, emotions, and awareness in its own sacred rhythm.
