A sound bath is a gentle, yet powerful experience for the mind and body. The session starts with each person lying down often with a blanket and an eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. As these resonate within the body, the brain waves slow down, shifting from a more active state to a deeper relaxed one. The sounds in a sound bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness; an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective into what’s going on within you. Everyone experiences sound differently but the goal of the experience is to invite deep rest & explore self-enquiry. The sounds are created using a variety of overtone, emitting instruments, including sacred drum, gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, Crystal singing bowls & voice.

Sleeping and resting play a vital role in the healing process, and it is natural for your body to signal a need for rest during the sound bath session. Everyone's experience with this therapy is unique. You may find yourself drifting off to sleep, feeling in a state between wakefulness and slumber, or sensing the vibrations in different parts of your body. It is not uncommon for colours, patterns, memories, and visual sensations to emerge.

'I've been to three of Sara's sound baths and each has been a different yet incredible experience. Sara created a really safe space, so I felt able to lose myself in the sounds, particularly her beautiful singing and the intense 'gonging'
(this isn't just an ordinary bong of a gong!). Her passion for what she is doing is clear, and she is genuinely interested in people's experiences, whatever they may be.'
