The Winter Solstice is a significant and sacred time of rest and reflection. In the quiet of winter, nature lies dormant, inviting us to turn inward. It is a period of darkness and silence, fostering a space for our soul's yearnings and fresh inspirations to eventually emerge. By attuning our consciousness to the rhythm of nature's cycles, we can deepen our understanding of our own growth and transformation.
Amid the darkness, our emotions are given space to be felt, and our inner darkness can become a cradle for our spiritual awakening and the birth of new possibilities. As the year draws to a close, the solstice marks the pinnacle of this darkness, with the longest night and the shortest day in the Northern Hemisphere. This moment symbolises themes of rebirth, renewal, and the imminent return of light.
For approximately three days around the solstice, we experience a profound standstill, emphasising a shift in direction. The image of the sun pausing in its journey becomes a potent metaphor for the energy available to us during the Winter Solstice. It offers us the opportunity to intentionally redirect the course of our lives and harness this energy as we step into the new year. Following this pivotal juncture, the nights gradually shorten, and the days begin to lengthen until the arrival of the Summer Solstice.

During this event, we'll use meditation, journalling, yin yoga & a sound bath (including scared drum, crystal healing bowls & gentle wind gong) to connect deeply with the solstice energy, creating a safe space for healing & rest.
